Window Screen Card

 Dear Ones~
Today's card was made for the Make It Monday Challenge over at Papertrey Ink.  The challenge was to make a window screen card. You can see the video HERE.
Here's my card:
This card was really fun to do. The "screen" was cut from the Wild Card Cartridge with my Cricut, and backed with vellum. The roses are from the Papertrey Ink Stamp Set, The Sweet Life. This set uses the 2-layer duo stamping technique. Here I stamped the bottom layer in GKD Innocent Pink ink, then stamped the top layer in Memento Lady Bug ink. The leaves were stamped with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink. The greeting is from the Gina K Designs stamp set, Stamper's Favorites. I cut the green oval frame with the Spellbinders Floral Ovals and Classic Ovals dies, and it was cut out of designer paper from a DCWV stack called Bouquet deFleur. The background paper is from an Authentique stack called Lovely. Punched out a little heart and tied it up with some twine, added pearls and, of course some Stickles to the roses, just for fun. This will probably become a Valentine card.

Thanks for stopping by, and stay warm my friends.

  3. Zowie! I love your window and vellum! Your roses are stamped beautifully, not an easy task with a 2 step process, but they are perfect! I also like how they wrap right around your window, such a wonderful layout! And of course you can't go wrong with those colors, simply beautiful! Wasn't it FUN? I love the windows everyone is making!
