Purple Rose

Dear Ones~
This is my second post of the day. This card was made for 2 challenges. Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #156, and My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #161.
Here's the sketch I used:
And here's my card:

As I said in my previous post, the Flourishes challenge asks us to use the Pantone Color of the Year, which is Radiant Orchid. See the Flourishes link to learn more about that.
The image on this card is from the Gina K Design stamp set, Stately Flowers 6. I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored it with Distress Markers. The card base is GKD Pure Luxury 120 weight card stock in Edible Eggplant. Patterned Papers are from the Recollections stack called Habitat, and from the K & Company stack called The Best of Susan Winget. I used an embossing folder from Darice called Circle Interlock on the purple paper. I like the way the pattern came out white from the embossing, I think it gives more texture. The butterfly punch is Martha Stewart, and I added some gold thread behind the butterfly and some liquid pearls in gold to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by, and stay warm my friends.
