Pantone Radiant Orchid

This card was created for the Timeless Tuesday Challenge #256 over at Flourishes. We were invited to use the Pantone Color of the Year, which is Radiant Orchid. To learn more about the Pantone Colors click on the Timeless Tuesday link.
Here's my card:
For this card I used the Flourishes stamp set, Letters in Bloom. I embossed the letters with Versamark on vellum, and then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The letters were colored on the back using Copic Markers. I used the Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 dies to cut the beautiful filigree shapes, which were mounted on Gina K Designs Pure Luxury 120 lb weight card stock in white. The background paper is from the Graphic 45 8x8 pack, Secret Garden. In retrospect I wish I would have cut the vellum with the Spellbinder's die, stamped the image on that, and backed it with the same die cut in white. I think it would have looked much neater.  As it was, I just cut the vellum in a strip and mounted it on the die cut.

I love the look of the gold on vellum - reminds me of cloisonne. Thanks for stopping by, and stay warm my friends.
