CASEing Gina

Dear Ones~
As I sit here writing this, the snow is falling again! And that's all I have to say about THAT!!
Today's card is one that I CASEd from a card by Gina at Gina K DesignsHERE is a video of how she created it. I really liked the clean look of this design. I will be entering it in the Mod Squad Challenge this week, which was to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from a designer. Basically it means you take a card that someone has made and copy it as best you can, maybe putting your own spin on it. There are so many wonderful designers out there, it's very difficult to choose one. But Gina is a master, and I couldn't resist her wonderful card.
Here is her card:
And here is mine:
It's time to make Valentines again and this was the perfect opportunity. The image is from the Simple Hearts Stamp Set by GKD, and the greeting is from Stately Flowers 6 by GKD. I have used Cranberry Tart ink by GKD, and the red card stock is also called Cranberry Tart. The square is a die from Spellbinders, the border a punch from Martha Stewart. I used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder for the texture in the background.
This card will also be entered in the StampTV MIUM Challenge - Put a Little Love in Your Heart.
Thanks for stopping by, and stay warm my friends.
