Princess Lillyonna

Dear Ones~
Today was Disney Princess day in my craft room. Our little grandniece is turning 3 on Sunday. Seems like I have been able to make a lot of kid cards lately - one of my favorite things to do. I always try and make them interactive. They love it. No plain 'ol cards from Aunt Judy or Grammie!!
Here's my card:
And here's the inside. As you can see, it's a waterfall card. Got all the major princesses.  I love making waterfall cards. They seem complicated, but are very easy - so the recipient thinks you're brilliant...hee hee.
Okay, now for the details. Not much to tell, really. I went to Michael's and got a bunch of Disney Princess stickers. The card base is Gina K Designs Pure Luxury 120 lb weight card stock in white. Patterned papers are from the Bouquet De Fleur and Haute Pink stacks by DCWV. That beautiful oval is made with a Paper Artist Cutting Die from Hot Off the Press, cut out of silver fireworks holographic paper. The little rectangle is a Spellbinder - not sure which set. I computer journaled the name. I always like to put the name on the card, plus how old they are turning on the inside. Kinda a keepsake thing. Oh, and I used some blue Liquid Pearls as accents on the front. Sorry - no stamping today. I almost had withdrawal.

I will be sending this card in a bubble mailer. As many of you know, I had an incident recently where one of my cards didn't reach it's destination. They only got the envelope, which was torn, with no card inside. I was less than happy and very disappointed!! That card was for my little grandnephew who just turned 1. An event which will never happen again. Live and learn. From now on, it's the mailers for me!!!!

Thanks for stopping by, and stay warm my friends.

  3. You are on a roll, my friend! What a great card! Love the "waterfall" inside, but Cinderella on the front looks fantastic! How come she doesn't age like the rest of us?

  7. Oh who wouldn't want to get this Princess Gem in the mail, good thinking with the bubble envelopes! Love the inside 'waterfall' actions, they are so FUN for children (and adults!) You have always made delightful children's cards--whether the PO delivers them or not, thankfully at least you had a photo of Gavin's. Poo on them!
