A is for Angel

Hello Dear Ones~
Today I made a little card that will be given as a thank you to a gal who threw a wonderful party for my mom and her Sewing Circle friends. My mom is 91 years old and in a wheel chair because of a stroke. When the Sewing Circle began 50 years ago, there were probably 12-15 ladies who belonged. There are 4 left, and they are all in about the same shape as my mom. The party was a huge success, all 4 ladies had a great time.  I wanted to thank Linda for doing such a wonderful job.
This card will be entered into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. The challenge was to make a card inspired by the letter "A". So I used this little angel, because that's what Linda was for making the party so special.

I used GKD Pure Luxury 120lb card stock in Ivory for the base. Patterned papers are from the Paper Wishes paper pack called Pretty Little Posies. I love these papers, there's lots of small floral designs. The angel is from GKD stamp set Primitive Blessings and the greeting is from GKD stamp set Mountain Wilderness. I used Spellbinders oval and lacy oval dies, and a Martha Stewart border punch. A little paper piecing for the angels dress with one of the Pretty Little Posies papers, and some stickles on her wings to top it off.
Hope you like my angel - I think she's rather sweet. That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by, and stay warm my friends.
