Art Defined

Dear Ones~
Here is another little card I did for the Mod Squad Challenge this week, which was to make our own background paper.

This time I used various Tim Holtz Distress Inks, tapped them on my craft sheet, spritzed them with water and then used watercolor paper to transfer the color. It's really fun to do this technique because you never know what kind of pattern you will be gifted with.

Here are the supplies I used:
Gina K Designs Sweet Mango Card Stock
Various Tim Holtz Distress Inks
Inkadinkado Stamp for Greeting
Flower Die by Papertrey Ink
Martha Stewart Scallop Punch
Spellbinders Labels 4 Die
Gina K Designs Fresh Asparagus Ink

That's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by - and think spring my friends!

  16. I have been having a heck of a time leaving a comment, Judy. I keep getting the blogger Whoops error, so I'm back today to try again. I wanted to thank you for joining my blog! I have returned the flavor and introduced you on my blog last week.

I really love this card and I, too, love playing with the technique you used for your beautiful background. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it's always a magical experience!!

Hope all is well and that you will be back posting your card art soon. Please let me know when you do! Hugs, Darnell
